This article discusses the potential introduction of Google’s services such as internet in the Islamic republic of Iran. This then shows that the power that new and digital media may be understated as if it can influence a government and its policies where western, democratic governments have not been able to fully, then it can be said to be platform that is of an influential nature. This therefore highlights how important of a role new and digital media is playing in everyday events.
