Microsoft unveils Windows 10: 'It wouldn't be right to call it Windows 9

Windows 10

The article was about Microsoft's new operating software - Windows 10.  It was about how they skipped Windows 9 and went straight to 10. It also spoke about the test, trial Windows 10 that is out tomorrow ( 1/10/14).

  • The new operating system, expected to be released next year, comes three years after the launch of Windows 8.
  • Windows 8 did receive a lot of bad reviews by users.
  • Before the launch, some had speculated the company might signal a new era at Microsoft by dropping the Windows name altogether. Internally the project had been called Threshold.
  • Windows 8 introduced major changes in Microsoft’s operating system
My opinion is that I cant wait for Windows 10 because of the new multi task feature on it. i personally like the name Windows 10 instead of Windows 9 even though by theory they should had called it Windows 9 no matter what.
